Second Day Questions

On this second day of my social media course, I need help with creating a link to a website within a blog message. 

One thing that confuses me is understanding how my laptop links (or doesn’t link!!) to the wireless networks here and why when I take it home and put it on its docking station, it doesn’t connect to my internet server.  I couldn’t do anything on it last night!
